~Monthly Moments: March~

I’m starting this new thing where I film moments during the month and then just piece it together in a montage style vlog. I did not film enough during the month of March but I decided to make one with the shots I did take. It’s really short but I think it’s nice and a great way to look back on the month. I’ve started off strong in April so far, here’s hoping I can keep up with and make the videos the way I imagine them.

    This is such a lovely idea, it’s great to see snapshots of what you’ve been up to. And the video is so well put together too – it looks great! Your cat is so cute!

    I attempted to edit a video last year and it was terrible. I’m just not patient enough to get timings right and cut things, and it was way more difficult than I thought it would be. You’ve definitely inspired me to give it another go though! Video editing is such a useful skill these days!

    @Amy, Awww, thank you! I always have a certain vision on how I’d want my videos to come out. They never come out the way I want but I enjoy editing them…even if they are still rough. I simply use Movie Maker and there’s only so much I can do. I tried using Premiere, but I didn’t really know how to work it. I hope to update my computer eventually but one step at a time.

    I’d love to see what videos you end up making. It’s fun just to play around with it. 🙂

    @sheene, XD I’m constantly craving Japanese food. Or what I consider Japanese food…I hope to visit Japan for real one day and try some authentic Japanese food. :9

    The video was indeed short, but it’s nice to look back on the month in very small snippets! It is obviously so hard to capture everything that happens in a month (let alone a week or even a day haha), but it’s still so nice to see the highlights and see what you can and are able to capture 🙂

    @Georgie, So short! XD But I’ve already done better with remembering to film more this month. But I wouldn’t want them to be too long either. I like the idea of these videos being just snap shots of moments I had during the month. And you’re right, it’s nice to see what I do capture, because not everything needs to be documented.
