So today’s prompt was a tad difficult. Because I know what I ‘want’, but what I want isn’t always exactly what I ‘need’.

Today’s prompt was….

Needs and Wants.  What are some things that you need right now?  What are some things that you want right now?  Sometimes these two things are hard to discern right?

But some things could be considered to be both a want and a need. I want a car, because I need to drive to school, or work or home. Of course I need a job before that  I guess… also a license to drive it. >.< Also cheesecake is a want but if seen as food then it can be seen as a need. lol Ok that might just deal with healthy food and not sweets but whatever. lol I totally forgot to put this on my want list, but I WANT TRUEBLOOD SEASON 4 TO HURRY UP!!!!

I have so many favorite quotes that its hard to choose.

So if you haven’t already guessed it, today’s prompt was….

What is your favorite quote?  Mine changes a lot because different things inspire me during the different seasons in my life.  Quotes are powerful reminders of the wisdom we can gather and share with others.

Of course I had to pick some of my favorite quotes written by Neil Gaiman.  Of course my favorite quote from him is like a paragraph long so I decided to go with the shorter quotes for my page. Plus this one was a tad negative so I tried to pick quotes of his that sent a sort of positive message.

This prompt was so fun to do. I had trouble figuring out what I wanted to draw but then I decided to draw my family as the Keroppi family. I love Sanrio, especially Keroppi. XD

This was such a fun prompt to draw out, I was extremely excited because I have such a great family and I am so grateful to be apart of it. Love you all!!!! I wanted to add my cats, but I wasn’t sure what to draw them as. I was gonna draw them as flies but frogs eat flies so that wouldn’t have work. And then I was gonna draw them as cat fish but still didn’t seem to work. So I ended up leaving them out. :/ But they are a part of my family as well and will probably add them in later.

Completely fill your page with line design!  Line design and geometrics have complete consumed my inspiration boards for awhile now.  The simple, yet complex designs are so aesthetically pleasing for me.  Have fun trying out line design, patterns, and geometric shapes on your page today.

I had trouble with this prompt. But only because I have soooo many favorite songs. And I’m not that great at illustrating. :/ But I still had fun with today’s prompt.

Illustrate your all time favorite song

So yeah I had trouble picking a song, in my painting class a couple semester ago we had an assignment where we had to paint a song. And I thought it was difficult back then as well. But I chose a Beatles song then and it was easier to illustrate a Beatles song. For this prompt I just put my ipod on shuffle and picked the first song that played. It just happened to be Vertigo by Anya Marina. Which I’ve mention before on my blog. I feel like most of my journal pages have been pretty sloppy. :/ But I’m still having tons of fun making them.

Another entry!!!!

So today was my second class of math and I still feel the same about math. I HATE IT!!!! I will probably have to go to tutoring every now and then. But I will do whatever it takes to pass this stupid class. Anyway so I fully intended to vlog today, but I just didn’t have a lot to say…well now I do and I could have very well filmed a vlog but we went to Hastings today and I bought two books. Everlasting by Alyson Noël is the finale to the The Immortal series and One Day by David Nicholls. Which brings me to the next thing I want to mention.

MOVIES!!!

One Day was also made into a movie, it should be coming out some time this summer. I’m soooo excited for it. But until I get to watch it, I will read the book and then be able to compare and contrast. Another movie that I want to watch is  The Art of Getting By, it comes out next week. But sadly my small town wont have any showings. They never show any sundance films!!! WHY THE HELL NOT?! I love indie films, those are usually the best.  But I can’t wait to see these movies.  Now on to a movie I watched the other night. An Invisible Sign, it was soooooo freaking cute. These are the types of movies I love. And I’m always left with such a happy feeling after watching them. Now this movie involves math, which is the  pain of my existence. However, I couldn’t help but fall in love with the main character. I’ve never  actually been a fan of Jessica Alba but she was so adorable in this movie. So if you enjoy cute artsy movies, then I recommend this one.

And of course I’m gonna be vain real quick and add a picture of myself. XD

Song of the day is Sunny Day by Joy Williams, I heard this song during the credits of An Invisible Sign and just fell in love with it.

Today is day 9 of the 30 day journal challenge. I had a lot of fun with today’s prompt, I just scrambled through my room  and found a bunch of random memories.

I love the idea of  a time capsule. But I find my blog/vlog as a type of digital time capsule. It preserves memories. And I love that.

I was a tad bit lazy with my page today, I just wasn’t actually in the mood to draw today. >.< Please forgive me for today’s lazy page. But here are the items that make me “me”, but I wouldn’t be able to actually put them in a time capsule because I wouldn’t be able to be without them. :/ But for a hypothetical capsule, these are the items I would put inside.

I have a lot of people I wan to dedicate these words to. I have a wonderful family and great friends.  Also to the people in my life that aren’t always involved in it in a day to day basis. But just do something out of the blue that make my day wonderful.

A friend that I haven’t seen in awhile came to visit me today. Which lead me to be a tad bit late in posting. I keep forgetting to just do the pages early and I wouldn’t have this problem. I mean Janel is nice enough to post the prompts early. I should take advantage of it. >.<

A letter to myself. I tend to worry myself a lot, so much so that I sometimes make myself sick with worry. I need to stop focusing on the fear of failing and focus on doing my best to succeed. I start my math class tomorrow, and I am worried sick. -.- But I need to take the time to embrace all of the things I am good at. I don’t realize how wonderful it is to be able to have hobbies. Not everyone has a creative hobby, and I have many. So…GO ME!!!
