So the prompt for day 2 was…

Create 3 to 5 simple, accomplishable goals for your 30 day journal challenge.  What are some things that you hope to accomplish through this adventure?

I actually had to think a bit about the goals that I wanted for this journal. And my main concern is perfection. But instead of looking at each page and hoping for perfection, I should just concentrate on making it perfect in my eyes. Which isn’t perfect…I just want each page to represent me in a way.

I really enjoy looking at others pages, it inspires me to continue on with this project.

On a side note, I think I am gonna stop Thursday love posts for this month since I am partaking in 30 Days. It will start up again next month.

It is day one of the challenge and I was so excited that she had posted the prompt a couple hours early. >.<

So the prompt was to…

“Create an introduction page.  This can be an introduction of yourself or of your journal.  This is kind of like the title page for your journal. “

So I just went nuts and just started to doodle. But then I liked the idea of cutting out paper and pasting it to my page so it has a collage feel to it. And I enjoy making collages.  So those who are up for the challenge post their pictures here and or on their blog.  Its so much fun to see different styles of journaling and artwork. XD

I got my journal from here, in the discount section. This store is so amazing, pricey but you definitely cannot leave without buying something. The pages are graph paper, I don’t know why but I love writing in graph paper journals compared to the normal line or blank paged journals. I think there are 32 pages, but those extra pages can be for when I feel extra creative and give a prompt 2 full pages. We shall see. I also thought using this as motivation to make some vlogs. I haven’t vlogged in such a long time. So this is the perfect motivation to start vlogging again.

Do the challenge!! Its just begun and I’m already having fun.

Another entry of things I love….I actually keep meaning to vlog but finals are next week and this week has been packed full. >.< I feel like a ball of negative energy, I really hope I pass my cinema and sociology finals.

1. Sour Patch Jelly Beans! I just got a ton of Easter candy and this is a new favorite. I shouldn’t be eating it because its not good for my braces but they are sooooo yummy! :9

   

2. The wonderful Mika- He is soooooo adorable!! >.<

3. Fuji Polaroid Camera-Sooooo freaking cute, yet soooooooo freaking expensive. >.<

4. Orchids have to be my favorite flowers. I love drawing them and painting them using watercolor.

5. I love love this robot fabric- I want to make so many things with it. >.<

Can’t wait for the semester to finally be over!!!!

Another entry of Things that I love!!! I know it is rather exciting. XD

1. I just bought this book, and now I want to just stay in my room with my sewing machine and get started. It is the perfect instructional book, and it has gotten my creative juices flowing. (that saying kind of grosses me out) >.<

2. Wooden Drawing Hands- I want one sooooooooo bad. Not even just to use it as a drawing aid. But I just find them so cool that I want one in my room. Plus I think it would come in handy when taking product pics for Mind-Speaks.

3. Border Collie- <3 I saw this one at the park when we went to the Indie Book Festival and I couldn’t help but want one. Mija managed to catch him on cam such a cutie. (the pic above isn’t the same puppy on cam) lol

4. berripop !!!! I know I’ve mention this numerous times, but I seriously cannot get enough of this yogurt. It is so freaking delicious.

5. This Eco-friendly brand- I just bought a package of three notebooks from Target. So I gave one to each of my sisters. Look here.  I should try to be more Eco-friendly. >.<

That’s it for another week of Things I love…I hope I can keep it up. lol Listing things I love is harder than I thought it would be.

I have started playing Pokemon White recently on my ds. And I must say I’m impressed.

I tried playing Pokemon pearl and gold but it just did not catch my fancy. My sister Mija and Jo Bro are already pretty far in the game. Also they both caught the legendary Pokemon Victini. The little bastard just won’t stay in the freaking Poke ball. So now I must level up so I can catch the cheeky bastard.

Cute little thing no? Well anyway, speaking of DS I’m sure you have seen the ads for the new 3DS. -.- I am NOT happy about this. I don’t even enjoy watching movies in 3D let alone playing games with that option. We went to Gamestop to see what the big deal was about and its nothing. Besides the teal color, I have no interest in the 3DS.(ok minus the game street fighter) I played it and it  was fun, as long as you keep the ridiculous 3D option off you will enjoy the game, however the buttons aren’t as comfortable as the DSLite. But that is just my opinion.

I feel like the DS XL JUST came out and they are already bringing out the 3Ds? WHY?!!! I think Nintendo is catching the apple bug and is just trying to keep up. My main concern is, does this mean that the old format games were put out will be obsolete? I keep getting mixed signals on Google, some say the game card won’t even fit in the older DS models. >.< Sooooooo annoying. Why can’t they just keep it the same. (DUH THEY WANT MORE MONEY) Which I don’t blame them. New model obviously means updated card designs as well. So older DS models won’t be able to play the new games made for 3DS. :/ SUCKS!!!!

Yes this entire entry was about video games and Pokemon. -.-  This is what a college student thinks about. Serious stuff. >.<  Next entry will actually be about serious stuff…I swear.

So I was just browsing through some blogs on bloglovin‘ and this blog just happened to have a really interesting post.

The Girls With Glasses Show

They are so adorable, I love their videos. Plus they wear glasses, I’ve been wearing since the 4th grade. I thought glasses were the coolest things in the world. I would even pretend I wore glasses before I had to. My cousin had some old glasses that she has popped the lenses out and I would wear them all the time. I thought glasses just magically made you smarter. I remember when my dad took me to get my eyes checked for the first time, and on the way I said, “I hope I get glasses.” I was an excited 9 year old. My dad then yelled at me saying that I shouldn’t wish to have poor eye sight. He was the kid with tape between his glasses. Except after he got into high school he stopped wearing glasses.

Every time I had an eye exam (I hate getting my eyes checked) I was always asked about contact lenses, and I would immediately just tell them no thank you. I rather like my glasses, and I would probably poke an eye out trying to get the contact in. >.< I have nervous eyes.  Anyway, I love wearing glasses and since I’ve been wearing them for 12 years already they have molded to my face and I look ridiculous without them. -.- So when I have to pose for my driver’s license and they insist/force me to remove my eyes when taking the picture, that is when my nervous eye habit really kicks in.  It takes like 40 mins for me to take a picture without blinking.  So there are some Kimmy facts you just had to know. -.-;

Back to the reason I’m making this post. I just wanted to share this with you.

So for Halloween weekend we went to Oni-Con. And we got to see and interview the J-rock band GAKIDO. The concert was awesome, I was in front and got hit a lot by the bass player Rito. GAKIDO was really nice and funny during the interview. Even their manager was nice, he gave us water. :3 Shutaro is my favorite member and he was so freaking hilarious. The entire band was really energetic on stage the live was exciting and the band kept the fans pumped up I had a lot of fun. And for Halloween we just spent the night at home and watched The Walking Dead. Its a good show, of course I hate Rick’s wife. How can she just start sleeping with her husbands best friend? I mean you are in the middle of an apocalypse shouldn’t she just be concentrating on surviving? And oh yeah mourning your supposedly dead husband?! I know its to add dramatic effect, I just really hope someone tells him that his wife slept with his best friend. Just saying.

What Mija and I wore for Halloween.

Ok. So I am finally enrolled at UH. Transferring is so complicated. -.- But I’m finally enrolled and now I just have to get a loan and then pay for classes and buy my text books.

The other day Kat and I got our new glasses.  Then mom took us to Hastings where I found the movie book of Mirror Mask for three bucks. Mirror Mask is one of my favorite movies. Its made by my favorite people, Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean. I absolutely adore them. So I was happy to find this book for 3 bucks when it originally cost like 16 bucks.  Mom also bought me these recycled paper journals from Target. I love getting new journals. I mostly update my blog now but I’ll write in a handwritten journal now and then. And for me you can never have enough journals. When I went to Borders I saw this journal. I love Paperchase its a UK brand so I can’t order this journal online. -.- Hopefully Borders will still have it. Anyway, Kat got this book called Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. I read it in a day and half, I couldn’t put it down. What I loved most about this book  was that its written in both the main girl’s and guy’s pov. I liked Sam’s pov better because his thoughts were more interesting. Its romantic and exciting, its the type of book where you can’t turn the page fast enough, and when its over you are left with this achy feeling.  I cannot wait to read the sequel. -.- I usually always have a book to read. But I don’t have one. So I’m borrowing one of Kat’s yet again. She didn’t want me reading Shiver before her because when we read books we usually tell each other about the book we are reading. But she wanted to read this one herself. >.< I do the same with movies, I want to tell others the ending before the movie has even started.

So Cate came over last Saturday, and we played Just Dance on Wii. And that game is indeed a work out. My arms were so sore after playing. -.- I am sooooooooo out of shape. But I had so much fun with Kat and Cate. Then after dancing we ate dinner and sat and played Smash Bros and then took some pictures until my cam battery died. I should have charged it. Cate is so adorable. And I have so much fun when I am with her. I don’t really hang out with friends often I’m such a lazy person.

Ok so Kat and I went to the Orthodontist the other day. They took some pictures and x rays, then they made molds of our teeth which I thought I was going to choke when they were doing the top teeth. Next week we have another meeting before they can actually put braces on us. >.< I hate all this waiting, I just want to get it over and done with. Man people born with perfect teeth have it so easy. -.- But I just keep saying to myself that I will have perfect teeth too after what 2 years? I can do this. Right? >.<  Oh yeah I totally forgot I painted my second Munny last week. I love kid-robot.  This time I think I did a much better job on it. I used my cell case and ipod for inspiration. And I like it a lot, I think its so cute and it has more personality then the first one I painted. I should have sent this one to Hyun, but I couldn’t resist painting another one. >.<

TUESDAY!

I got to spend the entire day with Missy. She went with me to the student show, and then we went out to eat with my mom. She is so wonderful. Then Missy, Kat and I went to watch Kick-Ass. Such a good movie, Hit Girl was so freaking awesome. She should have been the main role because she made the movie amazing. Anyway, so hanging out with Missy was wonderful as always.

On Thursday my art class went to an art museum. I wasn’t allowed to take any pictures and I didn’t even take any outside or anything. Man I’m lazy. Oh and Missy met up with my class at the museum with her parents. I was so happy I thought I wasn’t going to see her because I made plans with my sister to pick me up after the museum. She had to go back to work so I went with her and then afterward she took me to Aka. It was sooooooo delicious. We ate California roll and black peppered beef cut sashimi style. And then we ate gyoza but I totally forgot to take a picture of that. And then we ordered a plate of teriyaki beef.  The portions were small but the perfect size. We also ordered a bowl of white rice which was perfect because if its your first time trying raw beef you want to eat it with rice so it can act as a shield when its in your mouth. Does that make sense? But it also compliments the beef. I can’t get over how good it was. I love sushi. After sushi we went back to her apartment and I fell asleep. Then she so kindly woke me up, even though I was extremely tired, to go over Jody’s house to play Left 4 Dead 2. Then they showed me Little Big Planet. So fucking cute. I am totally going to make my own little sack person. I just need to find the right fabric.

Have you ever loved someone so much that you were willing to do anything? I mean anything?

Movie spoilers!

You were warned.

I just watched the French movie Jeux d’enfants aka Love Me if You Dare. I found this movie rather interesting. I love out of reality/day dreaming/foreign/romantic movies. Of course I do think the lovers should have grown up and stopped being so stubborn. I mean their dares kept getting more dangerous as they got older. The ending has them die for their love. They were buried alive in cement. But I’d rather see it as they grew old together and lived out their eternal love. Its one of those movies where its sort of confusing and it leaves you to pick your own ending in a way. So I pick that they lived happily ever after. Fin.

But does love like that exist? Where you would do anything the person who holds your affection tells you to do? I mean anything? Whether is humiliating, illegal, life threatening for you or others? I mean these people saw life as a game. As children it was fine yet they should have stopped it when they reached adulthood. I mean why use love to for selfish reasons? I mean why not entertain themselves by being together? But still I recommend this movie for others. It leaves you thinking. Which is why I am here blogging now. Of course I’m sorry I give away endings to movies so this entry might leave you not wanting to watch this movie. If so? I still think you should give it a try. I cried a little during this movie and then I laughed. Because it does have its humorous parts as well. So watch it…if you dare? HAHAHAHHA That was cheesy, but I couldn’t resist. hehe

Of course this movie sort of leaves me wanting to play a game. But the sort of game like in the French movie Amélie. Like leave a note for a stranger to find like in a book, or in the computer lab at school? But I doubt I could pull it off. And the chances of finding someone that was game or not? Pretty slim. Where are all the creative fun people?
